Bespoke Design
We want you to be involved in every step. If you cannot visit us in Rutland, that does not matter as everything can be done electronically if you wish. We are used to receiving commissions and working with customers from all around the world.
The first stage is to decide exactly what kind of bespoke jewellery you would like, not just simply a ring or a necklace, but to think about the purpose – will it be worn everyday, is it to match or complement another piece of jewellery?
You may find it helpful to collect pictures of pieces you like to help us with designing your bespoke jewellery. Why not have a look at our gallery for inspiration.
Unlike many bespoke jewellery designers who use a computer system to create an image for your design, our designer sketches by hand, to scale and then paints with watercolour your design –it is a piece of art!. The bespoke jewellery design can then be emailed for you to view or you can come to our showroom and discuss it further. This process continues until you are happy with the design.
Once you are happy with the design the next stage is to pick the stones. Our gemmologist will source a selection of stones for your design and then narrow it down to the best 2 or 3. You can then come to our showroom and look at the beautiful stones or, if it is easier, we can email you the images. Selecting the stones is the most important and most fun part of the process so why not make a weekend of it and come and visit our showroom where you can see other beautiful pieces from our jewellery collections, enjoy the beautiful countryside around Rutland Water with its many fine hotels and eateries.
If you are happy to proceed with the commission we ask for a 50% non refundable deposit before it is sent upstairs to our workshop for work to commence.

ween 6 to 10 weeks, however if it is required for a special occasion on an earlier date, let us know and we will try our best to have it ready.
Of course the best moment is the process of collecting your new piece of bespoke jewellery! We can of course ship it you, securely.
