Ladies Wedding Rings
The first consideration in deciding on a wedding ring is whether you want it to fit snugly with an engagement ring.
If you do then we can alter or redesign the engagement ring so that the setting is high enough for the wedding band to sit underneath or have a small section removed from the engagement ring so the wedding ring slots in. An alternative is to have the wedding ring shaped to sit around the setting of the engagement ring.
Usually the metal used for a wedding ring will be the same as had been used for the engagement ring, as this minimises the damage caused from the two rings rubbing against each other.
Traditionally a wedding ring would be plain but increasingly women are having stones set into them to give them that extra bit of sparkle and colour.
Gents Wedding Rings
It is easy to just ask for a plain ring, however, the ring is going to be on your finger for the rest of your life so it is important to consider the wear and tear it will experience. If the hand made ring is going to be knocked quite a lot then a Platinum or Titanium metal maybe worth considering. As the ring will be made for you, it is a great opportunity to have a truly unique design. You could have stones set into them or have inlays of different metals to give an interesting look to the ring.
Engraving
We offer an engraving service that starts from just £25 if you wish to have your wedding date or a special saying engraved on the inside of the wedding ring.
